It’s time to sign up for the 2020 Yellowstone County Master Gardener program.
Are you searching for detailed, Montana based instruction on how get your plants to grow best, their needs for fertilizer and water, and proper pruning and propagation techniques? Through the Master Gardener program, you will learn the best cultural practices for lawns, vegetable and flower gardens, fruit trees, ornamental trees and shrubs. Most importantly, you will know how to choose the right plants for our area and how to give those plants the best care needed.
The Montana Master Gardener course is designed specifically for Montana gardening, and will enable you to save time, money and frustration, by getting your landscape and garden plantings right the first time.
Classes are offered Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30 pm.
Classes are taught by Dara Palmer MSU Extension State Master Gardener Coordinator, from Montana State University-Bozeman, via online recordings. Cost is $125 for Level 1, $125 for Level 2, and includes the Montana Master Gardener Handbook.
