MSU College of Agriculture Elevates its Dean
There were a couple of major announcements at this year's Billings Chamber of Commerce Ag Appreciation Banquet affecting Montana State University
Montana State University President Waded Cruzado announced the university is elevating its dean of the College of Agriculture to a vice presidential position.
“We made this change with input from representatives of Montana’s agriculture industry,” said Waded Cruzado, MSU president. “Agriculture is such an important part of our state’s economy and such an important part of our mission as a land-grant university, this seems very appropriate.”
The new leader will be responsible for the College of Agriculture and the Montana Agricultural Experiment Stations.
A 20-member committee has been formed to conduct the search. Brett Gunnink, dean of the College of Engineering, is the search committee’s chair. The committee will be assisted by Greenwood/Asher & Associates, an executive search consulting firm.
